ATTENTION BUYERS: BE SURE YOU READ AND UNDERSTAND THIS SECTION BEFORE ENTERING INTO ANY CONTRACT WITH ROYAL HILLSIDE KENNELS.
Royal Hillside Kennels
Puppy Contract Terms & Conditions
For the purpose of this contract, “The Buyer” is the person who is entering into a contract to purchase a puppy from Royal Hillside Kennels. “The Seller” is Royal Hillside Kennels.
Payment:
_______A signed contract and a $1,000 deposit are required to place a pup on hold.
______All sales are final after days.
______All monies will be exchanged in USD by direct bank/credit union deposit, money order, bank checks, Cash App, PayPal. We do not accept cash or personal checks.
______ The puppy must be paid in full by the time puppy is 8 weeks old.
_______If pup is not picked up by 8 weeks of age; we will charge $10 for each additional day to cover food and board. (If applicable)

Transportation: (If applicable)
_______“The Buyer” is responsible for all cost of airlines transport via air cargo (flight, taxes, and fees). The cost charged to “the Buyer” will be the actual charges of shipment. A receipt will be provided to the buyer for for the cost of flight.
_______ “The Buyer” will be provided with a copy of the air cargo’s requirements (if applicable).
_______ “The Buyer” is responsible for providing or purchasing an airline compliant transport crate (plus, metal bolts, food bowl and water bottle) for flight. This is the airline’s requirement.
_______An itemized email/receipt of any/all costs: Price of the puppy, airline flight fees, crate cost will be provided to and accepted by “The Buyer” prior to shipment.
_______ “The Seller” is responsible to make all travel arrangements for “The Buyer”. The flight arrangements will be communicated verbally and/or electronically to “The Buyer” email, text messaging, and phone.

Breeding Rights:
________ Breeding Rights. If the puppy is bought out right, RHK will not maintain any breeding rights male or female.
Co-Ownership:
________ All agreements for co-ownership will be verbal and in writing.
Veterinarian Visit/ Medical:
_______ “The Buyer” agrees to have the pup(s) examined by a licensed veterinarian within 7 days of receiving the pup. This cost is to be covered by “The Buyer”. After 7 days, the sale will final and binding. “The Buyer” is solely responsible for all medical expenses related to the pup, moving forward.
_______A normal deworming and vaccination schedule should be followed for the lifetime of the dog.
_______Vaccinations: All RHK puppies will receive one full set of Parvovirus shots and one round of de-worming, as part of the purchase price.
_______At time of transfer, pup will be free of Parvovirus, Distemper, Adenovirus, Parainfluenza, Coronavirus, and any other life-threatening genetic defects.
_______If the pup has any of the above-mentioned illnesses “The Seller” will replace the pup provided the condition is sufficiently serious in the opinion of two qualified veterinarians, one of whom RHK agrees upon, to warrant euthanasia or sterilization.
_______All RHK puppies leaving the state of Hawaii require a health certificate, a rabies shot and an acclimation certificate. This cost is covered by “The Buyer”.
_______“The Seller” is an honest dog breeding business. No RHK dogs are to be abused, neglected or used/sold for illegal purposes (dog fighting).
_______Ear cropping: Ear cropping is not included in the purchase price of the pup. Ear cropping is the responsibility of the buyer. RHK recommends that ear cropping be done by a Veterinarian who can provide proper medical pain management and antibiotics.

UKC (United Kennel Club) Registration:
_______ “The Seller” reserves the right to add our Kennel’s name to the pup’s UKC registration papers. Paper work would read “Royal Hillside Kennels” plus your chosen name.
_______ “The Seller” will assist the buyer through the UKC registration process. Seller will provide the application, but buyers are responsible to pay for their own registration costs.
Circumstances beyond our control: We can offer no guarantees on number of pups or genders prior to birth. We will do an ultrasound and/or X-ray to determine the count. We are absolutely committed to work with our customers for the best possible outcome for all.
It is possible that when puppies are born: * We won’t have enough puppies for all who put down deposits. * We don’t have the gender of puppy you requested. * Puppies did not survive
In these cases, monies/deposits will be returned or moved to the next litter. This decision is at the discretion of “The Buyer”.
